About the Artist

I am a Los Angeles–based painter working primarily in oil, exploring the human figure, identity, and the quiet complexities of being seen and understood.

After years working in graphic design, I turned my attention toward painting as a way to explore something more personal and intuitive. I became drawn to the possibilities of paint itself: the tension between control and spontaneity, the emergence of a figure from loose brushwork, and the way a painting can hold a feeling that words cannot fully express.

My work moves between observation and imagination. Figures emerge from layered surfaces, shifting colors, and fragmented spaces, occupying a place somewhere between presence and disappearance. I am interested in the moments when a person feels both familiar and unknowable, when the body becomes a way of expressing vulnerability, memory, and the complexity of identity.

My current series, The Presence of Other, explores these ideas through intimate figurative paintings that invite a slower kind of looking. Rather than offering definitive narratives, I hope to create spaces for personal reflection, where each viewer can bring their own experiences and interpretations.

Through this shop, I share my original paintings with those who find something meaningful in them. Each work is an individual exploration, shaped by the physical process of painting and the uncertainties that make the process worthwhile.

Thank you for spending time with my work and for supporting my practice.
